Docket — intake & case operations
They store cases. Docket runs them.
Docket is the intake and case operations layer of the Legal Growth OS: the live inbox every lead lands in, the AI mailroom that reads the firm's paper, the SLA clock on every response, and the working file a matter lives in — built this decade, running in production at a real firm.
Request an Architecture ReviewWhat it is
An operating layer, not a filing cabinet.
Case management software has traditionally meant a database: staff type things in, and the software holds them. Docket starts from the opposite premise — the system should do the work of moving a case forward, and record what happened as a side effect.
- 01 Live intake inbox
- Leads appear in real time, attributed to the source that produced them. Every contact attempt is logged against the lead — who called, when, and what happened.
- 02 AI mailroom
- Every scan and every email into the firm is read, classified, matched to its matter, and indexed — with a human review queue for anything uncertain. Running in production today.
- 03 Response SLAs
- First contact is measured in business hours, not intentions. Breaches alert the responsible person; response percentiles are reported to leadership.
- 04 Attorney approval routing
- Qualification decisions are routed to the right attorney by email and Slack, with reminders — so a signable case never waits on an unread inbox.
- 05 Matters, tasks, and documents
- The working file: matter records by practice type, task routing, document checkout and naming, filing deadlines, calendars, and communications in one place.
- 06 One record, end to end
- When a lead converts, the intake thread converts with it. The firm can trace a signed matter back to the search that started it.
The AstroPress bridge
From the website to the inbox, in under a second.
AstroPress is the publishing platform under our websites — the layer that wins the search. The bridge is what makes that matter: the moment someone reaches out, the lead is written to a permanent record and delivered into Docket's live intake inbox with its source attached. No email forwarding, no morning copy-paste, no lead sitting in a form-tool dashboard overnight.

The website
Someone reaches out — a form or a call on the AstroPress site.

02
The record
Cloudflare writes the lead first. One record per lead — no duplicates.

03
Docket inbox
The lead appears in live intake, attributed to the source that sent it.
The happy path lands in under a second. A 30-second poller and a 5-minute reconciliation sweep make sure no lead is ever lost.
Response discipline
Intake measured in business hours, not intentions.
Most firms believe they respond quickly. Docket replaces the belief with a clock: every lead carries an SLA measured against the firm's working calendar, and every breach has a name attached.
- 01 First contact
- 8 business hours measured against the firm’s working calendar
- 02 Attorney approval
- 24 business hours routed, reminded, and escalated
- 03 Breaches
- alerted, not buried the responsible person is notified directly
- 04 Telemetry
- response percentiles intake performance reported to leadership
Versus legacy case management
CloudLex and SmartAdvocate are databases with a login.
While legacy waits for someone to file the document, the mailroom has already read it.
CloudLex and SmartAdvocate hold what your staff types into them. Docket ingests the scans and email itself — classification, matter match, and indexing happen before a human touches the file.
Built this decade.
A real-time interface, AI inside the workflow, and modern infrastructure the firm controls — not a database with a login and a support contract.
Wired into growth, not walled off from it.
Legacy case management has no idea where a case came from. Docket receives each lead with its source attached, because it is the intake layer of the same system that won the search.

Shipped vs. roadmap
What we claim, and what we don't.
Everything above — the live inbox, the mailroom, the SLAs, the approval routing, the bridge — is shipped and operating at JTNY Law. The full closed loop, where case outcomes automatically reshape content and demand decisions, is the roadmap we are building toward; today, outcomes return to marketing through the operating review. We publish that distinction on purpose: capabilities are not outcomes.
Docket ships as the intake layer of the Legal Growth OS.
It is not sold as standalone software. The Architecture Review determines whether your firm's intake reality justifies the integrated system — and shows you exactly where your current stack loses cases.
