The team
The people behind the system.
Wolfe is fifteen people. These five lead the work, and they are who a firm deals with directly: the people who write the software, move your firm onto it, and read the numbers it produces.
Behind them is a support staff of ten. We keep the client list short so the people leading your engagement stay close to it, and so you know them by name.

01 · the engagement
Chris H.
Chief Executive Officer
Chris runs the company and the client relationships. Chris also built the publishing and distribution pipeline behind Field Notes and the design system this site is drawn in, so the person accountable for the engagement is someone who has shipped the product.
chris answers for Scope, priorities, and whether the engagement is working.

02 · the fixer
David Z.
Founder · Chief Technology Officer
David has written custom software for law, medical and finance firms since 2008. AstroPress and Docket are David’s architecture: the decision to stop tuning rented tools and write the system a firm should have had in the first place.
david answers for How the system is built, and why it is built that way.

03 · models and numbers
Dr. Dao Yuan Han
Chief Data Officer
Dao holds a PhD in mathematics, in differential geometry and geometric partial differential equations, and is a published researcher with a background in training custom models. Dao trains the models Wolfe builds for a firm, including one trained on how a firm’s own attorney speaks, and owns measurement: attribution, reporting, and the line between what a number shows and what it does not.
dao answers for The firm’s custom models, and what the data supports and what it cannot.

04 · the build
Gio T.
Developer Lead
Gio leads the build. The code behind a firm’s website, its intake and its integrations is Gio’s team’s work, before launch and after it.
gio answers for What ships, and that it works when it does.

05 · the move
Jayden Y.
Migrations and Onboarding
Jayden moves a firm off its old website and systems and onto the new ones: the content archive, the redirects, the forms, the accounts. Jayden is the first person a new firm works with, and the reason nothing is lost on the way over.
jayden answers for Your first weeks with us, and everything that has to come with you.

And ten more behind them.
A support staff of ten works alongside these five on the builds, the migrations and the day-to-day running of each firm’s system. The five above lead the work and answer for it.
Who you deal with, and when
You will not be handed off to someone you have not met.
An engagement runs in a known order, and a named person answers for each part of it.

01
Architecture Review
Chris and David
We read your site, search footprint, vendors and intake, and tell you plainly what we would build and what we would leave alone.
-
02
The move
Jayden
Your content, redirects, forms and accounts come across from the old system, checked against the old site before anything is switched off.
-
03
The build
Gio and David
The website, intake and integrations are written for your firm, on infrastructure the firm owns.
-
04
Models and numbers
Dao
A model is trained on how your attorneys actually speak, so what is drafted for the firm sounds like the firm. Reporting is set up against your own records, with each figure stating its source and what it does not show.

The operating review
Chris
